Woodnet Marketing Council, a Barnstead, NH-based organization dedicated to responsible forestry and green building, called on Danconia Media to build for it a site to promote its cause and attract new members. Engineered using open-source technology, Woodnet's site is equipped with a highly user-friendly content management system (CMS) that the organization uses to modify and add content in-house. We built a site with a clean, minimalist design and seven p ages of content highlighting Woodnet's programs and its nearly 100 members. Woodnet uses the site to educate and reach out to companies seeking Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification. The site – located at www.woodnetusa.org – is one of several projects involving green-building initiatives that Danconia has undertaken. We've also designed sites and marketing collateral for Young Furniture Mfg., a Bow, NH FSC cabinet manufacturer, and J.S. Benson Woodworking & Design, a Brattleboro, VT company that produces FSC windows and doors.
