The Sanborn Regional School District required an updated, clean and user-friendly web presence that its wide-ranging users – including children, teenagers, adults and the elderly – could navigate without difficulty. What's more, the site needed to be built on a platform that school district staffers with little or no web editing experience could use to add, remove or modify content within moments.

We built the site – located at www.sau17.org – using a robust, open-source content management system (CMS) that allows for remarkable scalability. Since the CMS is open-source, the southern New Hampshire school district isn't tied down to just one development firm. The district includes schools in Newton and Kingston, including Sanborn Regional High School, Sanborn Regional Middle School and Daniel J. Bakie School.

Using the site, visitors can find information about the school district's schools, programs, administration, departments and job openings, among other things. The website features embedded videos, latest news, calendars, school registration info and links to the district's Facebook page and Moodle.
