Everyone who starts a business plans to be in it for the long haul. It's dangerous to market and brand yourself without that in mind. Designing your own logo typically means that you're going to look around online and see what is in fashion and looks cool today. Ten years from now, what is trendy will be dated; fonts, colors and styles all come in and out of fashion. Hiring a professional designer to brand your business will help you avoid that. They will choose design elements that work for your business and are relevant to what goods and services you provide, not just represent the moment in time your business was created.
Danconia created a look for us that I know we'll be proud to show off 10 or even 20 years from now.

I wanted to take this opportunity to sing the praises of Jon Simoni and Danconia Media. After several months of getting to know Jon, I finally had the opportunity to throw some business his way. In fact, it was my own business. I needed a website for a new venture that I am getting underway and I asked Jon to have Danconia Media create it for me. From the beginning Jon was extremely helping in guiding me through the process and asking all the right questions so that both he and I had a better understanding of what I really wanted for my design and content. We met on several occasions so that the project could get underway immediately and each time Jon was extremely accommodating with his time. Although he is not one of the designers, Jon is extremely knowledgeable about him to gather all of the right information from me so that once he brought it all back to the designers the project got underway immediately and progressed more quickly than I would ever have asked for or expected.
As a veteran user of the Internet, I have come across a wide variety of websites that come across as loud and pushy, flashy and cheesy. In short, the Internet is a rather frightening place in which to make a business. The whole time I was working with the people at Danconia Media, I was comfortable and I felt confident that my somewhat vague vision would come to fruition in the form of a classy, industry-appropriate website. I am very pleased with the result
